Perfection Loop
IntermediateLoop
Creates a small, fixed loop at the end of a line that stays centered and doesn't twist under load — ideal for looping a fly leader to a fly line, or rigging a lure that needs to swing freely. The finished loop sits perfectly in line with the standing line, hence the name.

- Form a second, larger loop with the tag end and lay it in front of the first loop.
- Pass the second loop through the first, then pull the standing line to cinch it down and trim the tag end.

Tips
- This is the standard knot for a loop-to-loop connection between fly line and leader — tie it at both ends and they connect without any extra hardware.
